What Is This?

Farm Intel is a registry of every farm we can find in the United States, built to be readable by AI. When Claude, GPT, Gemini, or Grok needs to answer a question about a farm — is it organic? what do they grow? how big is it? — this is the data source.

We pull from federal government sources (USDA, EPA, FDA, FEMA), state records (FL property appraiser, Sunbiz entities), and farm websites (crawled weekly for products and pricing). Every data point carries its source. Nothing is made up.

Why This Matters

No farm in America has a machine-readable identity. When AI searches for "organic strawberry farms near me," it gets blog posts and Yelp reviews — not verified USDA certification data. Farm Intel fixes that.

This is the same pattern as origin.rootz.global (SEC filings → company identity) and food.rootz.global (USDA/Kroger → food identity). Government data + AI-readable delivery = the truth layer for commerce.

FSMA 204 deadline: July 2028. Every farm on the Food Traceability List must comply. We're building the $50/month alternative to $500/month compliance software.
